The Level Field Foundation Begins Fundraising for Inner-City and Disabled Athletics

ImageNew non-profit organization will solicit funds from donors and project plans from potential recipients to help make sports accessible to all children  BOSTON, Mass. (May 19, 2008) – The Level Field Foundation, a new non-profit organization funding the construction and renovation of athletic facilities for inner-city and disabled youths, officially began fundraising today, according to an announcement by Executive Directors Ryan Farnan and Jean-Paul Sanday.

“We’ve put in a great deal of work to get to this day,” said Sanday, “And now we’re excited to start raising money and help a lot of kids experience the joy of sports in a positive environment.”

“The opportunity to play sports, and to learn the everlasting lessons taught by competition, is something that every kid should be able to have,” said Farnan, “We’re going to help create that opportunity for kids who traditionally haven’t gotten it.”
